Martha - Sobriety and Misophonia: A Journey of Resilience

The Misophonia Podcast

Jul 7 2021 • 1 hr 28 mins

This week I have the pleasure of talking to Martha of @martharecoveringoutloud. This is a wild ride with great stories including: snapping at other kids eating, running into a street to yell at honking cab drivers, TJ Maxx (enough said), and throwing a bread basket in a restaurant with trigger sounds. And some of those are dating stories. Martha is a character who has received multiple applauses from strangers in NYC for her efforts to confront loud people. As a person who is also in recovery, she is also very active on Instagram supporting the sober community. You can find more information through her Instagram where you'll see Martha’s hilarious posts, her recovery podcast, sober apparel and a lot more. Please note there is some language here not suitable for your kids!
