Today I’m continuing our discussion on Trauma, and the signs and symptoms of trauma, by talking about Adverse Childhood Experiences (also known as ACEs).

ACEs are the hardships you may have lived through in childhood, which caused trauma (developmental trauma).

When you’ve lived these experiences, the trauma you carry is high level, and often comes with high levels of symptoms and illnesses.

The study of ACEs has turned into a 10 question assessment that can help you understand if you’ve lived any of these experiences, and what trauma you might be carrying because of them.
