What does it mean to be invisibly allergic? Zoe Slaughter joins me in The Allergy Dragon's Lair Podcast to share her life journey with her peanut allergy. Zoe lives in Louisville, Ky, just like me. I met Zoe at Rainbow Blossom on one of my wellness Wednesdays.  Not only did we have food allergies, but autoimmune diseases as common ground to discuss. But we also shared a love of food, and sharing knowledge to help everyone in our allergy community.
Zoe shares how researching her allergies led to the creation of her blog. She also empowered others by advocating for herself during college and in various workplaces. Zoe is like so many of us living with food allergies daily and realizes that there is much to be done to improve our safety. Zoe is an agent of change and shares how she is trying to help so many of us locally by initiating food allergy policy changes for Louisville and KY.
