“My closest friends were all still married. So, I think the first time I really started finding hope was when I started to connect to somebody else who had gone through a divorce and realized they were already two years out and realized, okay, they're making it.”


The number of people going through divorce is astounding, and yet many people feel so alone when it happens to them. This was the case for Jenine, who went through a divorce ten years ago. She was blindsided by her ex-husband’s affair and her whole life was turned upside down. She had so many questions and concerns, and she was totally heartbroken and overwhelmed. Even with a brilliant legal team and a wonderful therapist, she struggled for a long time. What she really needed was a support group of people who really understood what she was going through. It wasn’t until she talked to someone going through the same thing that she found hope in the process. This is why she is now passionate about facilitating these groups through the Circle app, so that other people don't have to go through the same experience.
