FACT - I cannot tell you how much it breaks my heart that the world ignores how important emotional health and fitness are. I can’t tell you the amount of harm I have caused to others and myself that, after careful examination with the help of professionals much smarter than me, could have been avoided if only I had the awareness, the tools, and the support to improve my level of emotional health and fitness.
Men especially are guilty of skipping over emotion and going straight for logic. While this has proven over and over again to be a recipe for disaster in romantic relationships, the damage that stems from a lack of emotional health and fitness is most destructive in the relationship a man has with himself, for it is that relationship that determines the quality of everything in our lives
