“You’re shit. You can’t get up. You can’t move. You’re shit.”

Some scenes, some lines and some stories in pop-culture just tend to resonate with you where mental illness is concerned. And sometimes, anything graphic can turn out to be a severe trigger. So how instrumental is pop-culture in giving its viewers an idea of various mental illness conditions?

Zain and Avanti talk to musician, Tejas Menon, about movies, TV shows, and pop-culture in general that have either helped people understand certain mental health conditions with accurate representation or have ended up misleading the viewer.

Tejas also the host of the Geek Fruit Podcast. Check it out here!
