There are many different aspects and modalities involved in healing. These each have their own form of assessment. For example, acupuncture has been used with success for centuries. James Reston shed light on acupuncture when he went to China and had surgery without aesthesia. In acupuncture , there is what is called the homunculus. This is a representation of the body found in a particular part of the body. For example, there are homunculi in the ear as used in auricular acupuncture, in the hands as used in Korean acupuncture, the scalp as used in Japanese acupuncture. We all have heard of reflexology where different areas are referred to different parts of the body.
The eyes appear to have similar connections. Iridology is the study of the iris which is the colored part of the eye. The iris tells the genetics and the health history of the body. Sclerology is the study of the sclera, the white part of the eye. The sclera changes quickly and indicates what is going on in the body presently. Have these methods had success? Are there research studies? How does this work? Why does it work? This podcast highlights information on the iris and the tongue that the listener can use to assess his current state of health.
