Peripheral neuropathy is nerve damage that causes loss of feeling and/or pain from the peripheral nerves. Peripheral neuropathy is caused by damage to the nervous system from cancer or cancer treatment. People who have had peripheral neuropathy before they have had cancer can experience worsening of this condition. Today we will discuss this common problem and some of the ways it may be treated.
