Pride Month is supposed to be a celebration of the LGBTQ+ (did my dyslexic brain do the letters correctly omg my brain has such trouble with letters) community with lots of rainbows and sparkles. But this year Pride has had an onslaught of bigots attacking anything they see about the LGBTQ+ community.  From devastating legislation being passes attacking Drag Queens and the Trans healthcare to people physically attacking rainbows at Target and pouring out Bud Light.

This is a scary time and a reminder why Pride Month is still so relevant and important because we are backsliding and there is so much more that needs to be done.  Ben Caswell bravely joins me on this episode to discuss what all is happening and how this is impacted the LGBTQ+ community.  This topic was so important to talk about but so hard to get a guest to come on for because there is so much hate being aimed at the anyone who isn't cis heterosexual right now.  And no cis is not a slur. Thank you Ben for coming on this episode and being vulnerable and honest with our audience.  This is a scary time for many and I refuse to sit here quietly.  This is what I know how to do and I can only hope that those watching will learn something and support their fellow humans.
