79: Greenwashing: What it looks like and how to avoid it

The Missing Pillar of Health Podcast

Apr 12 2022 • 14 mins

Greenwashing is the intentional or accidental misrepresentation of how “green” - which in my case I’ll include “healthy” and “non-toxic” - a product is.

It’s one of the biggest challenges for those of us striving for a less toxic lifestyle.

In this episode I share:

  • some of the common greenwashing traps
  • what to watch for
  • how you can tackle label-reading without falling victim to greenwashing

This is important because it’s one of the ways choosing non-toxic products can feel hard and expensive.
