The Golden Knights are headed back to the Stanley Cup Final for the second time in their six years of existence. VGK put away the Dallas Stars with a 6-0 shutout win in Game 6 to take the series 4-2. They now meet the Florida Panthers with Game 1 at the Fortress set for this Saturday. In Monday's game William Karlsson scored twice and had an assist, Jonathan Marchessault added a goal, and VGK's fourth line played well following a lackluster Game 5 effort. Head Coach Bruce Cassidy inserted Nic Roy as the center for Monday's game on the 4th line and the line had a lot of jump, forechecked well and was rewarded with two goals by William Carrier and Keegan Kolesar. We discuss VGK advancing to the Cup Final by playing team hockey, with different players stepping up each night. Adin Hill didn't have a heavy load in recording his second shutout of the series. It is now on to the Cup Final for a second time. VGK is favored to win the series. We also credit head coach Bruce Cassidy - now South Beach Bruce - for the job he did with the team this season.
