In this episode, we speak with Dr. Brian Hortz, Director of Research and Education of Structure & Function Education.

Dr. Hortz  is an instructor and the Director of Research and Education for Structure & Function Education, Dr. Hortz teaches the Dry Needling Foundations and Advanced Dry Needling courses.

Dr. Hortz was inducted into the Ohio Athletic Trainers Hall of Fame in 2018,
In 2015, he received the National Athletic Trainers Association Athletic Trainer Service Award, recognizing his contributions to the athletic training profession, He received The Board of Certification Dan Liberia Award in 2009, and was the Ohio Athletic Trainer of the Year in 2008.

In this episode, Dr. Hortz provides an introduction to dry needling, the affects of dry needling and healing, and offers advice on implementing dry needling into practice for physical therapists, occupational therapist, athletic trainers, and chiropractors.
