The Mayan Calendar is far different than the Gregorian calendar. The Gregorian calendar is a solar-based tool while the Mayan calendar is galactic based.
Each one accounts for a day difference. The Gregorian calls it a leap year. The Mayan uses "A Day out of Time." It is consistently July 25.
