In this episode, Fergus is joined by John Barclay, former Scotland Rugby Captain, father and broadcaster.

John made 76 appearances for Scotland, as well as playing for Glasgow Warriors, Scarlets and Edinburgh. In 2020, John announced his retirement from professional rugby and has since become involved in media and the whisky industry.

Fergus and John discuss his rugby career, the lessons he has learned and how he's applying them to his life now,  dealing with injury, the future of the sport, what needs to change in order for it to survive, and much much more.

John also explains his thoughts on the recent controversial topic of Louis Rees-Zammit leaving rugby to try and pursue a career in the NFL.
