The Slender Man stabbing was a near-fatal stabbing that took place in Waukesha, Wisconsin, on May 31, 2014. Two 12-year-old girls, Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier, lured their friend Payton Leutner into the woods and stabbed her 19 times in an attempt to please Slender Man, a fictional horror character.
