Starting the Conversation

The Things I Haven’t Even Told My Therapist

Feb 5 2022 • 40 mins

Hey Everyone,

Today's episode will focus on communication and transparency. Society puts a lot of pressure on us all to keep personal struggles on the inside, so finding your voice with regard to mental health can be difficult. Overall, taking that leap can be greatly beneficial to your ability to heal. In order to discuss this topic and how we can change the discussions around mental health in our community, I had on my friend Tatum. She shared her own story and some issues she has experienced with communication around depression and other mental struggles.

I also discuss and introduce the "Bro-chdel Test" in order to call out the way guys interact on college campuses, and question the productivity of our natural communicative tendencies.

Thank you all for the continued support!

Enjoy the episode!
