On December 8, 2022, after serving 25 years in prison for a crime they did not commit, Lee Clark and Cain Joshua Storey were exonerated. Newly discovered evidence found during season one of Proof called the State’s case into question, and a Floyd County Prosecutor and Judge agreed their convictions should be overturned.
