On 4 January 2023 Michael Haight killed seven members of his family – his wife, his mother in law, and his five children, before killing himself. Having been investigated for domestic abuse previously, his wife Tausha had initiated divorce proceedings just two weeks before the killing, Michael exerted his one final act of control over his whole family. The facade of happiness, maintained by Michael Haight before he committed the unthinkable, starkly contrasts with the suffering endured by his family, a chilling revelation about the power dynamics and hidden strife within their home.
This is the story of Tausha, Macie, Briley, Sienna, Ammon and Gavin Haight and Gail Earl.
