There’s a lot to learn from Alex Bazzell’s work ethic, approach to his teaching and the methods behind his messaging. For a guy who came up in the game playing college at UMKC and on to overseas ball, he had to find where he fit in the emerging world of pro trainers. As he recognized, the game was becoming individualized and he sought out Drew’s guidance in entering the space.
For what he found, working through adversity means zero excuses and a mindset progression of facing the truth. In all of his clients from Kyrie Irving to Carmelo Anthony, it was his special relationship with Kobe Bryant the really unlocked his greatest perspective. By discovering the dynamic of avoiding pigeon holes and opening up your creative mind, it enabled him to illustrate the path to rethinking the definition of yourself. This has led to great collaboration with players, following a plan and getting them to the highest level of performance, function and success.
