Cast Music using Alexa-enabled Devices
Amazon Music can be cast to an Alexa-enabled Device, excluding Fire TVs, using the Amazon Music app.
- Device has an Internet connection.
- Device is connected to a power source.
- Device must be registered to the same Amazon account as the Amazon Music app being used.
iOS
To start casting from the Home Screen:
- Tap the Menu icon in the upper right corner.
- Tap Connect to a Device.
- Select the device to which you would like to cast your music.
To start casting from the Now Playing View:
- Tap the Casting icon in the upper right corner.
- Select the device to which you would like to cast your music.
Android
To start casting from the Home Screen:
- Tap the Casting icon in the upper right corner.
- Select the device to which you would like to cast your music.
To start casting from the Now Playing View:
- Tap the Casting icon in the upper right corner.
- Select the device to which you would like to cast your music.
Note: When casting music playback to a device, the streaming quality settings on that device
are respected.
To stop casting:
- Tap the Casting icon from the Now Playing menu or top navigation bar.
- Tap Disconnect across from the active casting device.
