20 Minute Loving-Kindness Meditation
This meditation cultivates Loving Kindness from within. Mediating on loving kindness helps to still our thoughts, open our hearts, and heal our own wounds. We want to be loved. We want to be happy, healthy, safe, free and connected to the world around us. In this meditation, we will offer loving kindness to someone we love, to someone whom we have difficulty with (big or small), to ourselves, and finally out to the world. You may feel a great deal of emotion coming up with this meditation. If so, remember to be gentle with yourself, if you can, allow any emotions that come up to be there. You may not feel much at all, and that’s okay too! Every day is a new day, every meditation offers a new experience. Be open to the idea that simply through a sustainable meditation practice, we are shifting and growing, we are expanding our minds and hearts.
