Mergers and acquisitions are commonplace in the language services industry, but sometimes not very well understood to the uninitiated. Today we will talk with somebody who has gone through the M&A process from the perspective of an LSP owner who sold her business. In early 2019 RWS acquired Edmonton-based company Alpha Translations for USD 6 million (cash). Michele Hecken, the former owner of Alpha Translations will join us to talk about her experience and give some tips to other LSP owners who may be considering an exit themselves.
