[00:00:00] Today, our guest is Sara Corckran,

who invites us to ponder adversity under the influence of gratitude.

I'm going to say that again. Ponder adversity under the influence of gratitude. Hmm. Sara's story and her work reminds us to be grateful for the opportunities that we are given. All of them, the good and the not so appealing.

We talk about the emotion of gratitude and how we can use it to anchor us in our own personal storms, and even allow it to ignite our courage to change. It is my hope that your amor fati might be sparked, that you leave this conversation with a newfound ability to love your fate. And believe that the events in your life are not happening to you.

They are happening for you in service of your own personal growth. May this podcast be a catalyst for you to become the better [00:01:00] version of you just bursting to step forward.

Kathy Washburn: And immediately I was like, dang, I got to know these people. I love that. But I know that you veered a little bit away away from that. So I'd love it if you could share with us and we'll include your bio. But share with us who you serve, what you're doing, what you're putting out into the [00:03:00] world. Okay.

Sara Corkcran: I am Sara Corcoran.

Sara Corkcran: You said Cochran. We say Corcoran. It all works. And my background is in education. I was a teacher for 25 years or so.

Kathy Washburn: Thank you. You're

Sara Corkcran: welcome. For real. And I taught most of that time I was teaching teachers, which is so fulfilling. I was teaching teachers how to be impactful teachers.
