A main focus of this episode is AI creativity, the relationship between technology and art, Sam’s amazing Dream Machine where he deployed AI programs to interpret his dreams and explored how this can then be transposed into music. Listeners are challenged and inspired as Sam and Aaron raise and analyse topics including, Data Sonification –taking information or stats and transposing them into musical systems, ‘If it’s possible to use AI to make people feel like they are dreaming when awake?’, What would happen if we softened the boundary between conscious and unconsciousness?’ and ‘how can a sunset could be turned into a piece of music using AI?’
