The Weigh In with Gina podcast supports and motivates listeners on their weight loss journeys. Host Gina Livy provides expert, scientific, and holistic advice. She also invites other professionals to join her in some episodes.

Gina believes people should lose weight healthily and sustainably. She founded Weight Loss by Gina Inc. to help people achieve their weight loss goals. For 30 years, Gina has changed dieting culture and created affordable and practical methods. In 2018, she started an open Facebook group for shedding pounds. Now, her company has more than 28,000 members, with new members joining daily. Listeners may enjoy the companion book to her podcast, The Livy Method Program.

Learning expert Dr. Deena Kara Shaffer comes on one podcast episode. She is the author of Feel Good Learning, a book focusing on processes rather than results. Deena emphasizes overcoming challenges like shame and negative self-talk. In another episode, guest Dave Stewart discusses his journey. Dave and his wife both joined Gina's program. His sister then joined, too. Dave reveals how he learned to trust her process and how his perspective has changed. Now, he sees that not all fitness victories revolve around the scale. Weight fluctuations happen, and there are many ways to measure success. Paul Hrkal, a naturopathic doctor, talks about why progress may sometimes be slow. Sometimes, health factors may impact one's ability to slim down. He advises a "multi-factorial approach."

Listeners hear Gina's Facebook Live sessions in many podcast episodes. Odette and Kim from Gina's "Maintenance and Mindfulness" group join in one of these. Odette shares that she reframes her thought process to train her mind. Sometimes, the challenges are more significant with holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas. Her mantra on these occasions is to be calm and enjoy. In one "Weigh In Wednesday" episode, Gina discusses situational change and excuses. Consistency is vital. So is recognizing one's negative patterns and replacing them with positive habits.
