Charlie tells us how at the early age of 16, he purchased his first welding machine and put it to use building aluminum pirogues and home made boats for his hunting and fishing needs.  That passion for boats, as well as the outdoors, led him to jobs with Go Devil Manufacturing and others while growing up.
