Body dysmorphia affects queer men in nuanced ways, and while we can't unpack every single element - we're going to give it our best shot! Some guys experience body dysmorphia through muscle dysmorphia - sometimes called 'bigorexia' where the adoration of bigger bodies can become more than a erotic fascination, but a driver in how we perceive ourselves - sometimes with negative consequences. Addam was a longtime presenter of Allegro Non Troppo at JOY until his passing in 2010 and this award is named for him.
