GUEST BIO:

Vin has been managing people in business since the age of 23, and at 63 that's 40 years of management experience in many environments including large and small corporations, volunteer organizations, and academia.

He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, a master's in software engineering, is a Lean Six-Sigma Blackbelt, and a certified Scrum master. He has spent most of his career working with embedded systems (the small computers inside other things) and has led teams as small as 2 and as large as 200 with collocated, remote, and virtual teams both domestic and international.

In addition to his business, he is adjunct faculty at Santa Clara University, and sits on the industry advisory board for the electrical engineering departments at Stevens and Santa Clara, where he is chair. He also is on the advisory board at several non-profits. With this experience, he has seen, and been, both good and bad management.
