#36 - Sherington Amarapala: Gratitude, Curiosity and Impact Investing

The Zach Walter Show

Feb 3 2021 • 1 hr 4 mins

Sherington is a global citizen and an aspiring impact investor who has lived in 7 different countries while studying at Minerva Schools at KGI and working for various VC funds. Growing up in Norway as the son of Sri Lankan refugees has provided him with unique gratefulness for life and an ambition to build a more equitable world. While capitalism helps drive human progress in some areas it is detrimental to other areas such as the climate or distribution of wealth. Sherington believes that impact investing could help make up for some of the inherent flaws of capitalism.
