In this great episode Russell Prue talks about all the opportunities and benefits for children from having a School Radio station.  Russell is a well-known character in the Edtech World, he’s an educator and published author.  Russell regularly hosts live shows for colleagues and young people on his broadcasting platform LearnRadio.Net. He’s been a major part of the Mental Health & Wellbeing Events in Cardiff with his live broadcasts that accompany the show. Russell has worked at every BETT Show since it started properly in 1985. During lockdown and throughout the Pandemic Russell has been working with colleagues to produce regular live educational shows for children and young people at home and at school, including a series on Crafting, After School Books Clubs and Mental Health & Wellbeing Shows. From the first day that Schools partially closed in March 2020, Russell had a live learning show with Pie Corbet and friends that generated a listening audience of over 1.2M young folks.
