First dreamed up decades ago, the National Children’s Hospital has become an ongoing crisis passed from one health minister to another, all at the expense of the Irish taxpayer. Now, a snag list has emerged, detailing a litany of problems with rooms that were supposed to be finished. Meanwhile, the cost of the hospital has spiralled out of control and the latest deadline for completion has been missed. The builders will probably be finished next May, but the fit-out will take another six months on top of that. Host: Ellen Coyne Guest: Fionnán Sheahan
