The purpose of consciousness, at an operational level, is to ensure that the difference between what an individual thinks or says about reality and the real facts is minimal.

As a society we need to face the ever-growing list of problems head-on if we want to make change by understanding the many factors that have contributed to the issues and realizing that a one-size-fits-all approach will no longer work as the world has changed.
