In this episode I had the joy of traveling through Aotearoa, New Zealand, the land of the long white cloud with my dear friend Rachael Lowe. A journey of breathtaking beauty and deep conversations about our ancestry and in what way ancestral forgiveness is needed personally and collectively.
We had the privilege and honor of meeting Philip Mutu, a Maori elder in the village of Whakarewarewa in Rotorua. Philip took us to sacred Maori land by the weeping waters at the foot of the volcano Mount Tarawera where his grandfather was living when it erupted in 1886. We had a profound conversation about ancestry, faith, love and forgiveness.
