Initially founded in 1999 by Tom and Dana Baldwin, Baldwin Real Estate has grown slowly and steadily throughout the years.   In January 2019 the company was purchased by David Hitch, who has worked at the firm for 11 years prior and brings a desire to take Baldwin Real Estate into a new era of community management.  Baldwin Real Estate strives to be the premier association management company in and around the Asheville area.  The firm has always desired to service their current clients first and bring on new clients only when it is confident it can give them the same attention it gives the existing clientele.

Association Management itself is very different from any other division in the Real Estate field.  Success in Association Management requires knowledge of daily operations, maintenance issues, knowledge of legal documents such as Restrictive Covenants and By Laws, and financial planning knowledge.
