Meet US Coast Guard veteran Tammy Barlet of the Washington DC / Baltimore area. Tammy’s originally from a small town in Pennsylvania which is part of the reason she served 8 years in the military [get out of the small town] as an Operations Specialist. She shares the other reason why she joined the military along with what she did, where she’s been, and taught me something about a certain status of the Coast Guard I thought I knew to be true.
