Raquel Vaz Pinto is a Researcher at the Portuguese Institute of International Relations (IPRI) of Nova University in Lisbon and Visiting Assistant Professor at the university’s Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, where she teaches the course of Asian Studies.
She was president of the Portuguese Political Science Association from 2012 to 2016. Raquel Vaz-Pinto is the author of several articles and books and her research interests are Chinese Foreign Policy and Strategy; the US and the Indo-Pacific; Europe and the World; and Leadership and Strategy.
She is a member of the Scientific Commission of the Future Forum and also a consultant of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
But, on top of all this, she is an amazing human being who deeply knows and defends the value of Freedom.
