Mar 24 2021 • 30 mins

"At any moment, the game can change".  National treasure Joseph Marcell chats with Victoria Blunt about his route from Sheffield's theatre scene, all the way to achieving cult status as Geoffrey Butler in The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
-
Joseph has an enviable career spanning almost 5 decades in TV, film and theatre.  Arguably his most famous role came when he was in his 40s, and in this interview he speaks candidly about his 'back-up job', his fears after Bel Air, and what he wished he'd known as a young actor starting out.
