Why are Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) an important topic around the globe? Are young people able to make their own decisions about their health and sexuality, and what informs these decisions? CARE Canada's Youth Champions highlight key issues facing women and girls globally, and examples of what SRHR looks like in reality. They dive into the SHE SOARS* project, which is improving young people’s choices, rights and access to youth-friendly services in Kenya, Uganda and Zambia. Finally, the Youth Champions discuss their own experiences with sex education in Canada.
