When the world called her 'kaali' for being dark-skinned, she wondered what the fuss was all about instead of getting bogged down!

A typical tom-boyish girl oozing confidence was a sight to behold for her extended family and neighbours!

When other girls wondered how they would get that one break, she was showered with various opportunities to live her dream and impact many lives with her kindness!

That's Shreya Krishnan for you, my friends!

Here is her whole story. In this conversation, we discussed how she dismissed every glass ceiling, stereotype, and biases with her grace, kindness, and smile.

At a professional level, Shreya is SVP Marketing and Communications at Aon India Insurance Brokers, CSR specialist and a Corporate Grooming Consultant.

She’s on the advisory boards of four organizations and four NGO’s. That’s just one facet of who she is.

This former Corporate Diva and Mrs India Universe 2017 also dabbles in Activism, Dance, Theatre, Poetry, Blogging, Sustainability Evangelism, Modelling, Acting. She considers herself an Earth Warrior and is an Event Anchor and Trainer.

She is a champion of Inclusion and Diversity and She recently co-authored a book titled, ‘Words Matter, the language that girls need to speak’ The book is a compilation of forty words that help the reader to choose their vocabulary in a way that allows them to redefine how human beings are treated.
