Justice or Just-Us?

Superhero Politics Podcast

Dec 6 2021 • 42 mins

Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly. -Martin Luther King Jr.

In this episode we will discuss the interpretation, application and dispensation of justice in America. The cases of Kyle Rittenhouse, the murderers on Ahmaud Arbery, and the continuation of the saga of January 6th have left many feeling that justice is not only blind, but deaf, unable to hear the cries of those who need her the most. How far are willing to go to see justice served? What is the line between, justice and authoritarianism? How can we respect the system, when the system doesn't respect us?

What if you had the power to make your own justice? What would you do? We witness when one man with all the power in the world is pushed to the brink and becomes his own justice. No one man should have all this power....
