It took me a while to understand what makes me happy. And I made a promise to myself that I would focus my life on doing things that kept me in that space.
I remember in college one of my professors said to me, "do what you love and the money will come". I didn't listen. I followed a path to money that I created for myself and I paid a price for it. A miserable price.  As my values and goals shifted, I decided to take the advice that I was told and so far it is working for me.  That's it, that's the secret to my happiness. I'm creating a life that brings me joy. I found clarity figuring out who I am and focusing on the things that I'm passionate about. This had changed my life drastically.
