My First Experience with Anxiety and How I Dealt with All the Anxious Feelings
anxiety really hit me right after I stopped drinking and using other substances because it was so many emotions and feelings that came up all at once that I had pushed away for a long time. I was living in the past by thinking about the "good times" I had and wanting to go back to drinking. I was also living in the future by worrying about what i would do if all I was used to was drinking and partying. I was not being in the present moment. I was thinking negative. it's literally all in your mind. if you start worrying about the future and playing negative scenarios about it in your head, that's making yourself anxious and building up the anxiety. nobody and nothing is forcing you to be anxious. its you, your fears, and worries. remember that just how build anxiety within you, you can also get rid of it,
