Jul 18 2023 • 1 hr 4 mins

Eleanor Roosevelt completely redefined what it meant to be the First Lady of the United States. Known to publicly disagree with her husband, President Franklin Roosevelt, she was the driving force behind many of his more progressive policies during the Great Depression and World War II. Though she was seen as controversial at the time, she has since become one of the most admired people of the twentieth century. Roll up, light up, and prepare to meet the “greatest American First Lady” in another episode of this weed fueled podcast.
