One Big Idea Podcast Episode 10

Each week I bring on the brightest creators, builders, and thought leaders to explore the intersection of crypto and culture. In today’s episode, I sit down with Gino The Ghost, co-founder of Blocktones, a generative music project.

Gino The Ghost is a Grammy-winning producer, songwriter, and artist based in Los Angeles. Originally from Detroit, The Ghost is currently on fire after co-writing “Back to the Streets” by Saweetie feat. Jhene Aiko, which peaked at #1 on both Rhythmic and Urban radio.

Gino is best known for writing Saweetie’s recent EP release, “ICY”, including the #1 multi-platinum hit single “My Type”. He also co-wrote “Kills You Slowly” for The Chainsmokers, a single off their #1 album World War Joy. His work on Nathy Peluso’s debut album Calambre (writing her hit singles “Delito”, “Trio”, and “SANA SANA”) won him a Grammy. He also received nominations for Best Dance Album (Illenium) and Best Latin Album (Nathy Peluso).
