Dropping an episode today to talk all about protecting your emotional energy! What’s up? I’m so excited you’re here today!

Let’s dive right into my Weekly Fave : I have been loving the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. It’s wild, and it’s really been so clear to me while watching that we need to focus on managing our OWN emotions.

Here’s what we can do ( and it’s all we can really do anyway):

We need to release the need to change others.

When we release the need to change others there is less at stake, less high emotional volatility. We aren’t wanting anyone to be a certain way. We are just open to what comes mentally and emotionally. We manage our emotions with no expectations of others.

OK so identify a social interaction that might be coming. Imagine an interaction bubble all around you. Fill it with your favorite color and how you want to feel when leaving this interaction. Do you want to feel safe, secure and accepted? Fill your bubble with those feelings.

This is one of the things we talk about in Baddie Girls Club. Our bubble focuses on how we feel, what we need and it blocks out other people’s judgment. We protect ourselves from being emotionally drained.
