How to handle comments meant to comfort, but that actually offend

Bereaved Motherhood and all it Entails

Jul 28 2023 • 26 mins

Today we wrap up season one of the podcast. We talk about handling comments meant to comfort, encourage or simply relate that are actually hurtful, triggering, and over all upsetting.  We hope this episode encourages you to take a stand when the time is right as we work together to raise awareness of stillbirth and infant loss. Education is key when we are trying to help others better understand our loss and losses like ours. We are doing the hard work for the community of bereaved mommas today as well as the ones destined to join our club in the future. We love hearing fromm you and even though we are going on a short break to prepare for season two, moving across the country and all that entails we would love to hear what you want to hear discussed on the podcast next season. Also if you feel led to share your story with us please send  it  over as well. You can reach us at maverickjohnkanis@gmail.com. We love hearing from you and connecting! See ya in September!
