Idea: A high student exchange program where both kids being exchanged live in the US but in different situations (city vs. country, rich vs. poor, etc.). Also: meeting and living with different types of people would make kids more emotionally intelligent and less likely to be jerks; "prison in the pines"; boarding schools for misbehaving exchange students so you don't have to send them (and the corresponding exchange student) home early
