Ep.3: Our hopes and goals for 2024, pushing it reel good and my snoring dog

In episode three, we chat about our own individual goals and things we'd like to achieve or just try our hand at this year. We discuss shooting during the spring/summer months and how our approach changes according to season and the time of year.

We do our first draw for our collective lab challenge PUSH IT REEL GOOD, where our goal is to dispel some myths around pushing and pulling film and to create a bit of a catalogue of pushed film.

As always, we're keen to hear your thoughts. What are YOUR goals or challenges for 2024? Drop us an email and let us know, or if you've got any questions for us that we can answer on a future episode, send them in to us at voicenotespodcast@jackslab.co.

This episode was hosted by Jack Ford, Rosie Warwick and Jack Tolhurst.

In this episode, we also chatted about the Wet Plate Collodion workshop we attended at Negative Thinking, a Bristol-based alternative darkroom and photography studio, offering workshops in traditional black and white hand printing, as well as many more alternative printing processes. Tim is truly one of a kind and we're honoured to call both Tim and Emily good friends of ours. You can check out everything them, right here, or give them a follow over on their Instagram.
