In this episode I get to talk with Shannon, a comedian from Ireland currently living in New Zealand. We chat about how he gets paid to be a comedian, what it’s like writing jokes, and what he enjoys most about comedy. Shannon also shares stories from his many international travels. While in Thailand, he and his friends had the opportunity to participate in Songkran, the New Year’s celebration that gives water fights a whole new meaning and created some lifetime memories that are not cherished by everyone. Also, health is important even while traveling; Shannon learned that the hard way in Vietnam. If you’d like to connect with Shannon after this episode, you can find him on Instagram @sbgcomedy.
Also, be sure and check out his podcast What Am I Doing? to hear more from the world of comedy.
