Also the first to be conducted at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, the 13 hour operation required meticulous planning in rehearsal to accomplish the complex task of collecting bones, blood vessels, muscles, tendons, nerves, and skin from donor to recipient. Dr. Bruce S. Wolock specializes in hand, elbow, and shoulder surgery and general orthopedic surgery. He is fellowship trained an orthopedic, hand, and upper extremity surgery.
